Substrate treatment
The substrate needs to be polished (for aluminum parts) or phosphated (for iron parts), or treated with sandblasting (for better coating adhesion).
Sandblasting
We recommend that the particle size of the sand grains be between 90-120#, and please control the speed and angle of the spray when spraying. A suitable roughness (recommended between Ra2.0μ-3.0μ) can provide more mechanical occlusion points, which is beneficial for improving the adhesion of Teflon coatings.
Cleaning and drying
Then clean water to wash away dust and residual sand, and finally dry and inspect to ensure that the surface is free of oil, moisture, rust or other dirt.
Paint preparation
Dispersion of paints
Before the primer and face oil are used, the paint must be fully dispersed, and the bottom must be checked by rotating at a speed of 30rpm for 30min on the barrel roller.
There is no precipitation and agglomeration, and the bottom oil can be used only after it is evenly dispersed, and the rolling time should not be greater than 60 min.
Filtration of paints
The paint is filtered with a 150 mesh filter.
Construction method
Prepare before spraying
Adjust the atomization and oil output of the spray gun before spraying, and ensure that the spraying workpiece is clean and smooth;
a. Single-layer spraying
Clean the pre-treated substrate and then spray; After spraying, slowly raise the temperature to 280°C, keep it warm for 10 minutes, and then cool it to room temperature after 10 minutes.
b. Two-layer spraying(For a higher gloss effect, you can choose it)
One layer of spraying is carried out first, and after completion, it is baked at a low temperature of 60-100°C, and after cooling, a second layer of spraying is carried out, the temperature is slowly raised to 280°C, and it is cooled after holding for 10 minutes;
The spraying environment should be relatively dry, ventilated and dust-free, and it is recommended to use special spray guns, pressure tanks, and sintering furnaces;
Before the air compressor is used, it is necessary to remove oil and water, and install an oil-water separator;
Note: The sintering furnace should ensure that the exhaust air is good, there is a heating process of about 10min, and the heat preservation should be kept at the specified time according to the operation, otherwise the coating color will change.
Storage & Duration
Storage temperature
The paint should be stored at 5°C-30°C, and the shelf life is 6 months.
There is no precipitation and agglomeration, and the bottom oil can be used only after it is evenly dispersed, and the rolling time should not be greater than 60 min.
Storage requirements
The paint storage site should be kept ventilated and dry to prevent direct sunlight, and should be isolated from fire and heat.
